Zinc Phosphate was originally developed in the UK as a high purity, non-toxic alternative to Zinc Chromate and Red Lead, used as an effective anti-corrosive additive in paints and coatings.
Delaphos has been a leading brand of Zinc Phosphate for many years, previously manufactured by companies including Trident Alloys and Mazak. In March 2009 the brand and manufacturing business was purchased by JPE Holdings Ltd, which has been trading for more than 40 years.
